Getting Started with Your CodeGPT Bot on Microsoft Teams

We're excited to have you on board and can't wait for you to start using our bot. To get started, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Download the Zip File

Our integration with Teams works using Power Automate. We know creating a Microsoft Power Automate flow can be tricky, so don't worryβ€”we've got everything packed in a zip file that you can import from Power Automate (opens in a new tab).

First, go to the Teams page after logging in here: Teams Integration (opens in a new tab).

Once there, click the "Download Zip" button. After downloading the zip file, go to Power Automate (opens in a new tab), navigate to "My flows," select "Import," and then "Import Package." Upload the zip file you downloaded. A configuration import page will open; select "Create as new" and name the flow (we recommend a name that helps you remember it's for implementing the CodeGPT bot).

In the related resources, choose the name under which you will download the application.

Step 2: Activate Your Flow

Great! You've installed the flow. Now, go to "My flows" and activate the selected flow. At this point, the flow should work in your general Teams channel when you type the keyword "botCodeGPT."

Step 3: Link Your Agent

As you’ll see in the response, the bot will inform you that no agent is linked and will provide your Teams ID and name. This is the second part of the connection. Go back to Teams Integration (opens in a new tab), click "Connect," and enter the ID and name we provided. This will connect your Teams space with your CodeGPT account and open the space for you to enter the agent immediately. Please do this so the bot can respond.

Step 4: Start Chatting with Your Bot

From here on, the bot should respond to any message containing the keyword!

And that's it! You're all set to start using your CodeGPT bot on Teams. Happy chatting! πŸ€–
